USB Microphone - AM310

Please check your USB Microphone AM310 settings by following the steps below:

On a PC
1.Right-click on the speaker icon in your system tray, and select “Playback devices” (You can also access the settings from the Start menu: Start → Control Panel → Hardware and Sound →Sound → Playback)

2.Click on the “Playback “tab, Select AM310 as the default device

3. Click on the “Recording “tab. Select AM310 as the default device

On a MAC
1.Please go to System Preferences and select Sound
2.Click on “Input” tab and then click on AM310 to select it as the default sound input device

3.Click on “Output “tab and then click on AM310 to select it as the default sound output device

Please note: your speakers won't be able to output sound while AM310 is set to default Playback/Output device. If you want to play sound through your speakers as an option you can choose your speakers as your default Playback/Output device instead
Please check your speaker settings by following the steps below:

(1) Right-click on the speaker icon in your system tray, and select “Playback devices” (You can also access the speaker settings from the Start menu: Start → Control Panel → Hardware and Sound →Sound → Playback)

(2) Right-click on the icon corresponding to your speaker, and set it as the default device

First of all, please make sure you’ve selected the AM310 as your default recording device in your Control Panel or Preferences. Second of all, please navigate to Skype Preferences=>Tools=> Options=>Audio Settings, make sure that you have your AM310 mic selected as your Microphone and Speaker.

AM310 is a high-sensitivity microphone, to some extent any sound recording will generate background noise, but there are few things that you can do to minimise interference. Follow the steps below for tips on how to minimize background noise.

1. Go to Windows Volume panel/ Recording devices find AM310 USB microphone and adjust it to lower volume level (note: the overall sound output will be lower)

2. Adjust the position, direction and distance between AM310 and your keyboard in order to change the reception angle
3. Use 3rd party audio software (Audio filter) to suppress or filter the bass part
4. Don’t use mechanical keyboard
